FLY to Toronto! Learning Session and Laptop Distribution!

FLY has a fun day ahead for our participants in Toronto! Here's what you can expect on FLY's first outreach in Toronto:

• Session #1: Success in education and preparing for the future: Resume creation and LinkedIn.
• Session #2: Volunteerism and leadership - How to maximize your volunteering experience.
• Session #3: Introduction to Leadership
• Session #4: Leadership session – Presentation Creation
• Session #5: Leadership session – Public Speaking and Presentation

If you are interested in recieving a laptop or graphing calculator at this event, please fill out TEC-0011 - FLY ON Outreach Laptop Application prior to July 20 to be assessed. For those qualified, you'll have the chance to receive your laptop and other educational assistance at this event. For this event, only the first 100 eligible participants will recieve laptops! Please note that you must be registered as a student to avail of the educational assistance.

For participants: HOW TO GET TO CHESTNUT EVENT ROOM

1.       Upon entering the hotel, proceed to the center of the lobby and take the lobby escalator to 2nd Floor

2.       After reaching the 2nd Floor, make a right to take a staircase down to Mezzanine Level

3.       Proceed straight into Mezzanine Foyer

4.       Chestnut Room is located to your left

Parking: Available at City Hall Parking lot across Sheration Hotel:

·  $3.50/half hour

·  Day Maximum (7am – 6pm) $20.00

·  Night Maximum (6pm – 7am) $6.00

·  Sat/Sun/Holidays Maximum (7am – 7am): $8.00

·  Billing for this parking is not affiliated with the Hotel

·  Guests can walk directly from Parking to Hotel via underground PATH system
