Introducing the FLY Project: Empowering Under-Represented and Newcomer Students

Welcome to the FLY Project, an initiative designed to uplift and support under-represented and newcomer students in their educational journey. Our mission is to provide these students with access to educational and financial resources that can make a world of difference in their lives.


Who Can Benefit from the FLY Project?

We cater to a wide range of students, from Junior High to Post-Secondary, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to succeed.


What Kind of Assistance Can Students Receive?

Here's a glimpse of what we offer:

  • Laptops

  • Scientific calculators for advanced learning

  • Textbook reimbursements

  • Scholarships to ease financial burdens

  • Basketball equipment for physical fitness and team building


Eligibility Criteria

The criteria for qualifying for our assistance are not combined. You only need to meet one of the following criteria to be eligible.

  • A current student

  • From a low-income family (based on 2019-2022 financial records), or

  • A newcomer or under-represented student


How to Apply for Educational Assistance

Joining the FLY Project is as simple as following these steps:

  1. Register Online: Complete the FLY Student Registration Form (TEC-0001) on our website. https://www.theexpertcollective.com/forms

  2. Submit Documents: We will require the following documents for verification: a. Student ID b. Government Issued ID c. Student Transcripts d. Information about your family size.

  3. Confirm Eligibility: Our dedicated social worker will assess your eligibility after receiving all the required documents and forms. We'll send you an email confirmation, of whether you are eligible or not.

  4. Attend an Event: Pick up your items by attending one of our events. It's a great opportunity to connect with fellow students and learn more about our organization.
